Assistant/Associate/Professor in Computer Science

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Teaching and supervising undergraduate and graduate students.

 

· Mentor and support teaching assistants / lecturers

 

· Focus primarily on experiential and project-based learning.

 

· Objectively evaluate students' academic progress

 

· Collaborate with colleagues regarding their research in the interest of generating new academic lines of inquiry

 

· Provide tutoring and academic counselling to students

 

· Provide a learning environment that makes effective use of available resources, work experience, and fieldwork

 

· Contribute to other administrative areas to support students, department and institution, timetabling, facility design, professional development, student employment etc.

 

· Publishing research, attending conferences, delivering presentations, and networking with others in the field.

 

· Reviewing methods and teaching materials and making recommendations for improvement.

Skills Requirement:

· Must be a M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA from reputed university - Assistant Professor

 

. Must be a Doctorate (PhD) from reputed university for Associate/Professor

 

· Good leadership skills

 

· Demonstrate effective writing and speaking skills in English

 

· Published articles and proven experience as an academic.

 

· Strong teaching and mentoring skills.

 

Experience:

 

Assistant Professor –M.Tech with 0 - 5 Years of post M.Tech. Experience.

Associate Professor –Ph.D. with Minimum 5 Years of post M.Tech. Experience of which 2 years post Ph.D. experience.

Professor –Ph.D. with Minimum 10 Years of post M.Tech. Experience of which at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor.

· A sound understanding of and passion for subject matter.

 

· A growth mindset and excellent networking abilities.

 

Candidate Profile:

 

· Proven ability in R&D, consultancy with consistent high-impact research publications, for institutional growth.

 

· Strong record in innovation, patents, and intellectual property.

 

· Active promoter of entrepreneurship through EDC and student mentorship.

 

· Experience managing Innovation & Tinkering Labs for hands-on learning.

 

· Established industry connections for collaborations and placements.

 

· Expertise in value-added courses for practical skills and employability.

 

· Dedication to quality teaching with modern methodologies.

 

· Successful acquisition of research grants and funding.

 

· Knowledgeable in quality assurance and accreditation processes.

 

· Leadership and mentorship skills to support faculty and student growth.
