We are inviting applications from highly research-active candidates for the positions of full-time Associate Professor in Computer Science. While we welcome applicants from any area of computing, we are particularly interested in applicants with an expertise in areas such as Data Systems, Graphics, Cryptography, and Theoretical Computer Science.

 

Faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching, advising students, participating in faculty colloquia, and academic administration. A Ph.D. (completed or nearing submission) is required at the time of application. Our expectation is that a successful applicant will:

1. Undertake independent high-quality research as well as work actively with existing members to build a strong interdisciplinary community of scholars who are committed to delivering cutting-edge research and innovation

2. Translate research findings into evidence-based practices, programs and policies

3. Remain committed to excellence in teaching- a core value of FLAME University- and adopt creative pedagogies that foster cultures of inclusion and diversity.
