The faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University invites applications for the academic position of assistant professor according to the following description.

 

[Work content and job description]

〔Research Area〕

Nanostructure characterization of different materials and foods by using quantum beam, especially using Small-angle X-ray and Neutron Scattering. Aim to construct new field of “Mixed state” science and engineering.

 

〔Responsibilities〕

1 Teaching

Graduate courses in on Division of Quantum Science and Engineering in Japanese/ English

Undergraduate courses in Department of Mechanical and Intelligent System Engineering in Japanese/English

 

2 Supervising Duties

Nanostructure analysis for undergraduate and graduate students

 

3 Other Duties

Duties as Faculty / Course committee member, etc.

Annual salary:4 million yen

Wages description:The salary will be determined in accordance with the regulations of Hokkaido University

Working hours:08:30-17:00

Holidays :Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays (12/29 - 1/3)

Overtime and other explanations:Overtime and other explanations: Discretionary work routine based on consent (standard 8:30-17:00, Deemed to have worked 7 hours and 45 minutes in a day.) or fixed working hour system
