Offer Description

This Thematic Project funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) has an open post-doctoral position to work in “Sustainability in Systematic Literature Reviews”, at the University of São Paulo in São Carlos, Brazil.

 

In the context of this project, several aspects of sustainability have been investigated, including the sustainability of systematic literature reviews. In particular, this post-doctoral project will explore social, economic, and technical factors related to sustainability in systematic literature reviews, aiming to address the current problems of these reviews and solve them in a holistic way.

 

Expected requirements of candidates:

 

- Ph.D. in Computer Science or related areas;

- Good experience with conduction of Systematic Literature Reviews and Systematic Mapping Studies (SLR/SMS);

- Knowledge of sustainability, including software sustainability;

- Advanced English language skills;

- Good publication record.

 

This 24-month fellowship is expected to start immediately, ideally in early March 2025.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
