The Department

The School of Computer Science is the country's largest, most diverse, and most accomplished. The School was founded in 1981. It now has more than 54 academic staff and 60 PhD students, and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduates. The Candidate

We are seeking top candidates from subfields of Software Engineering, with a preference for candidates with strengths in software testing, software architecture, or software design. Industrial experience and/or experience of collaborative research with industrial partners would be a significant advantage.

To be successful, you should have a PhD, have demonstrated excellence in research and a commitment to high quality research-informed teaching of both undergraduate and graduate students. Ideally, you should have a research program that complements and builds on existing areas of strength within the School (
