Your Responsibilities

  • Teaching courses in German as well as in English
  • Actively conducting research in applied science: pursuing your own projects as well as participating in other research and development projects of the university
  • Assuming administrative tasks related to the university’s self-administration system

Your Background

  • Experience in hardware-oriented IT Security (hardware-based attacks against circuits, components and systems are to be tested, constructively prevented and analysed forensically)
  • Doctorate degree (in exceptional cases, holders of a master’s degree will be considered)
  • Expertise in the relevant subject areas
  • Pedagogical competence, which, as a rule, is evidenced by teaching experience in vocational-training programs
  • Ability to produce excellent academic work, which, as a rule, is evidenced by the quality of your dissertation
  • Exceptional accomplishments in applying and expanding scientific knowledge and methods, achieved in the course of professional experience spanning at least five years – three of which outside the university context
  • Openness to new teaching concepts
  • We expect of the successful applicant to install his/her main residence close to the Albstadt campus.
