Job Description

The Department of Robotics, Perception and Learning (RPL) at KTH ( is looking for students interested in gaining practical research experience in several areas of Robotics, Control, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.

The service is not focused on a specific area or project, instead we are looking for you who show high potential to contribute to one or more RPL research groups.

Applicants will be evaluated continuously, and the service will be tailored to each candidate's interests, and time of year (eg 3 months full-time during the summer, or longer part-time during the school year).

The applicant must be enrolled in a program at the master's or master's level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or the like.

  • Experience in projects (eg at the course level) in robotics, control, computer vision, machine learning, or similar is a merit.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development and integration, preferably in Python and C ++ / C #.
  • Good mathematical background.
  • Habit and knowledge of computer vision, motion capture, robot-related algorithms and methodologies, logic, formal methods, or machine learning and tools.
  • Excellent communication ability in speech and writing.
